The latest Twitter imposter (or perhaps [and most likely] it is the same faker as before) now claims to have "decided to join the Twitter World to stop the confusion" caused by the imposter accounts, and offers thanks to Flying Blind Film. Sounds legit, right? WRONG! I checked with Helen’s London assistant, Michael, and he told me: "Thank you for getting in touch to clarify this. Helen is definitely not on Twitter, Facebook or any other social networking sites. This is something which may change in the future, and if it does, I will let you know. Otherwise they are all hoax accounts." There you have it, people. When/if Helen decides to join Twitter, Facebook or any other social media network, Helen's Haven will be among the first to know, and will immediately share the news with you. Until then, keep your guard up and don't fall prey to the imposters.

November 19, 2011: Even more definitive proof that the "Helen" on Twitter is an imposter
A few months ago (see news item dated September 1, 2011), Helen’s London assistant, Michael, confirmed without question that “Helen is NOT on Twitter or Facebook”. A little detective work on my part a few weeks later (see news item dated September 28, 2011), added additional proof. Still, more and more people have begun following the imposter on Twitter, apparently thinking it might be her -- even though it is NOT her. Now, the production team behind Flying Blind has also confirmed that Helen is not on Twitter. You may read their post (dated November 18, 2011) on the Flying Blind Twitter site or the Flying Blind TwitPic site which reads as follows: "Hello @Kararazzi! Sadly, #HelenMcCrory does not have a twitter account. We've asked her ourselves. We see her every day, we would know." There you have it, folks. If you or anyone you know have been deceived by the imposter, please take heed of these facts and pass this information along.

September 28, 2011: Further, definitive proof that the "Helen" on Twitter is an imposter
Even though Helen’s London assistant, Michael, has confirmed without question that “Helen is NOT on Twitter or Facebook” (see news item dated September 1, 2011), it seems some people still think that the imposter on Twitter might be her -- even though it is NOT her. Well, last night brought about additional, definitive proof that the "Helen" on Twitter is an imposter. In a Tweet posted at 7:14 pm (UK time) on September 27, the imposter "Helen" stated plans to rest with hot tea, a novel and the children after an exhausting day. Meanwhile, as evidenced by photos added to this site today, Helen (the REAL one) was attending a London play, The Playboy Of The Western World, at the Old Vic theatre in London -- and the play had started 14 minutes before the Tweet was posted! -- and she then went to the after-party later that evening. So she definitely was NOT relaxing at home with the children, tea and a novel. There you have it, folks. Each picture says 1,000 words, and all of them prove that the "Helen" on Twitter is an imposter. If you know of anyone who is perhaps being deceived by the imposter, please pass this information along.

September 1, 2011: Twitter
Recently, someone has set up a Twitter account in Helen McCrory’s name. I have consulted Helen’s London assistant, Michael, to inquire as to whether this Twitter user is truly Helen or someone else. He has confirmed without question that “Helen is NOT on Twitter or Facebook.” So there you have it, the Twitter user is an imposter. Let’s all be careful out there, folks!
