This is one of those great Sunday night dramas that ITV has pulled out all the stops for. The star-studded cast includes our favourite redhead Damian Lewis, James Fox and Beverly Hills 90210 pretty boy Jason Priestley. It's based on the book by Henry Chancellor, which told the extraordinary escape story of prisoners in World War II. Three soldiers flee a POW camp at the start of the war. One manages to get the hell out, but the other two (Layer Cake's Tom Hardy and Island At War's Lawrence Fox) are caught by Germans and taken to the scary castle prison Colditz. What follows is a desperate attempt to escape, with the help of a fellow POW (that's where Priestley comes in), plus a bit of romance thrown in for good measure. Star performances all round and a tale that will have you gripped. Concludes tomorrow.
