Love on the South Bank: Rob Brydon reminded the audience that he met his wife, a former producer on the show, at the awards eight years ago

Baffled: Winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award Melvyn Bragg said: "I am very sad and very baffled. I'm moved by the appreciation shown by so many great artists this afternoon."
