The truth? Well, it's unlikely that anyone other than the man himself knows the whole story. Apparently, the real reasons behind Archer's fall from grace have been concealed to protect national security and innocent parties. But don't expect any Panorama-style exposés. Even the writer describes this as a history of modern Britain that "owes more to Naked Gun than Jonathan Swift". Damian Lewis plays Archer and Greta Scacchi plays Margaret Thatcher.
