This is the first of the ShakespeaRe-Told series: contemporary retellings with new scripts and modern language. In Much Ado, Beatrice (Sarah Parish, The Wedding Date) and Benedick (Damian Lewis, Band Of Brothers) compete with each other at a provincial British TV station. When they're teamed as anchors on an evening news show, they discover an unexpected (and very funny) attraction to each other. The rest of the adaptations are equally smart and inventive.
