(publication unknown), early-mid May 2006

Damian Lewis starred as John Osborne in a special tribute to the playwright's breakthrough work Look Back In Anger, which celebrated its 50th anniversary at the Royal Court this week.

David Tennant appeared as Jimmy Porter, alongside Helen McCrory, Anne-Marie Duff and Steven McNicoll, in a series of extracts performed from the play and directed by Joe Hill-Gibbons and Ian Rickson. Meanwhile Corin Redgrave made his first stage appearance since he was taken ill last June, as critic Kenneth Tynan, while Simon Day performed as Tony Richardson and Nicholas Le Provost featured as George Devine, the Royal Court's founding artistic director.
