The first series having gone down pretty well (though some of us had reservations), Granada's adaptation of John Galsworthy's novel sequence continues with this second series. The title dramatised here is To Let, which picks up the action 20 years after the death of Queen Victoria. While Soames Forsyte (Damian Lewis, pictured) struggles to come to terms with the Roaring Twenties, his daughter Fleur (Emma Griffiths Malin) is busy falling in love. Little does she know that her love for Jon (Lee Williams) the son of Irene and Young Jolyon, will reignite the old and still bitter feud between Soames and Irene that tore the Forsyte clan apart. Fleur is determined that nothing will stand in the way of her love for Jon, but there is another who is in love with her -- Michael Mont (Oliver Milburn). ...
